What is PTO?
Parent Teacher Ohana
The He'eia Elementary School PTO offers an invaluable link between the students, school staff, teachers and families, but without you and your support it would not be possible for the PTO to continue to sponsor events and provide much needed contributions to our school.
Why join the He'eia PTO?
*PTO offers parents an opportunity to make positive changes in the school.
*PTO sends out information on a regular basis by newsletters and e-mail so that members can be well informed of upcoming meetings and activities.
*Joining the PTO shows an interest in your child's education and school activities, it shows greater support for his/her teachers and school and improves the relationship between parents and school faculty.
*JUST HAVE FUN!
How involved do i have to be?
You can be as involved as you want to be.
*We understand that parents have a very busy schedule with homework, outside activities and family time. We would appreciate any time that you can spare. Volunteers are always needed for activities throughout the school year, but if you can't spare the time, we just appreciate your membership. All we ask is that you join, receive updates, read our newsletters and if possible attend one of our monthly meetings which are held in the school library on the 2nd Tuesday at 4:00 PM every month.
What does it cost to be a member?
It doesn't cost much to become a PTO member.
*All we ask is that you donate $10 per family for the entire school year! Keep an eye out for our membership form via the Thursday envelope that is sent home with your child and simply fill out the form, attach your membership fee and wither submit it to the school office or have your child give it to their teacher.
